I don't know why this happens. They both seem pretty disillusioned with what a 4 banger can do. It really does come down to a preference.

Ever wonder why all of the top racers DON'T use Civics? They use Skylines(where applicable), or Supras, Lancers, Imprezas, or RX7s.... real rice.

I don't think disillusioned really describes either of us.

I know what people have done with their Civics, I know whats possible on a cheap budget.

Because Civics are cheap disposable cars that everyone else uses. Cheap to modify, cheap to own.

Not everybody wants a Dyno/highway queen, AWD aka crappy top end and cornering, or old rwd with an unreliable rotary.

Actually Johnny, just so you know, one of the most famous Supra teams was JGTC, who used a turbo'ed 4 banger on the supra platform to meet class requirements.

An AWD car will push outward and understeer before my car will. Unless of course you're a professional driver who tests cars for Car & Driver or Road & Track.

Exactly, anyone who knows how to drive a car quite well, knows an AWD car will handle better. AMOF, I've seen a video of a Lambo Gallardo staying up with a crotch rocket around a track. Let's not forget the Gallardo is AWD. Crotch Rockets are NOT easy to stay up with around corners either. Bother were driven by professionals, so no advantage to either one by skillset.
