Nah, your actually only paying 1,950 for the A/V system. Actually Chrysler now has tons of Mercedes engineering behind it with a lifetime power train warranty to back it up. Does Volvo have that? ;)

You only think you are paying 1950 for the A/V system ;) 'Cause if you actually paid 40K for a mini-van I'm going to have shoot you! I don't care if the shit had a hot-tub in it! :D You can thank your "Mercedes" engineering behind it to bloat the price for it too ;) What Volvo does have is a reputation for safety. But I only quoted Volvo for the song, nothing else :)

I'm glad your happy with your new vehicle. Who cares what the rest of us think?

We only "think" we are paying 1950 for it? Why don't you tell me how much we are paying... I mean, to me, 1950 for 2 8inch dvd screens, 20gig MyGig Mp3 and Photo System isn't too bad considering most "cool" people pay about $2,500 for two head rest DVD systems... as for the Volvo, what does it have the Van doesn't? Let's see, A VAN??? The closest thing they have is the XC70 that STARTS at $36K, which, by the way is MORE than what I paid for my ENTIRE van, loaded :eek.... so, please, enlighten me ;) what kinda crash and safety ratings are better than 5 star that the Van has? Volvos are nice, but not worth the extra money you pay for them in the long run.... why? Well, do they have a LIFETIME Powertrain Warranty? Can you get a FREE engine installed after 500,000 miles if it dies on ya?
And why would you have to shoot me if I payed that much for my "mini van"... because it is "uncool". I mean alllll the cool cats drive mustangs. I should go cruise my boys around in that... then I can fit in with ya. ;)

how do you figure ass-kisser? If she would have read correctly she would have seen that I only quoted Volvo for the song, nothing else. Where did I also say that only the cool people drive Mustangs (however this is understood)? So, James, most of her post was cracking on Volvo's, which I had already stated I didn't care about so exactly how was I owned?

Suz, if you still have a vehicle after 500K miles, more power to you girl. Most people don't keep cars much past 100k miles, which almost all new cars last thru nowadays. Having said that, warranties like this are a nice thing to have, but I guarantee the other car makers will follow suit. Its the copy-cat syndrome.

Also, I said, who cares what we think? You took my opinion as a personal attack on you and I didn't say it to attack you. I would hope people can state an opinion and you not think we were personally attacking you.

Now, would you please give your ass-kisser a lesson on pwnage?

And for the record... if everyone elses opinions mattered to me...do you honestly think I would have made this thread? No.. I was/am ecstatic. And I am happy for the others that have left a simple congrats. Minus the people that have addmited to being jealous.
