seems to me you keep encouraging folk to report, yet i can imagine the immature side of some folks nature will have them reporting a lot of silly things - just to be spitefull

I think they just ignore it

No we just ignore it and PM the person who reported it clarifying our position on the matter.

It is very much a case by case thing.

We do discuss every reported post though, but don't always take action. As I said, case by case.

personally if i thought poster A was reporting just about everything poster B said out of spite, i would level a big stick on the ass of Poster A

Like someone said a few pages back (I think it was Cam) people were reporting solely for tokenz at one point and got told to stop and then it wasn't an issue. Fortunately, we have a good group of members.

If I have problems with a person, and as I said it has only happened once, I just put them on ignore or pm them personally, I only like fun drama, not dissension.

To kinda elaborate on the thing about non-mods stepping in...I don't think of it as being a problem if it's, like Thorny said, "hey, if you don't get back on topic a mod might step in and infract you." But when it comes to arguments or stuff like that, if it doesn't involve you, don't involved yourself. Report the posts and let the mods handle it. And don't worry...if we think you're being petty and reporting just for the sake of reporting, we WILL let you know.

Every single time I found out it was just good, clean fun.

And ALSO for the record, I hashed out on one person and momma Tash took me aside and WTF'd me. Lined me out right proper and washed my mouth out with soap and I have been a good Thundercunt ever since. :willy_nilly:

i don't report posts because not something i like to do and also am sure already someone will ..

i am ok with everyone i may argue a little sometimes but i stop i do not continue for long not worth it ..
does not mean i like everyone but no need to argue always either ..

If its reported we are guaranteed to see it.

That's the way i look at it, If you aren't sure its better to report it for us to message you and say hey nah its ok, than leave it and it turns out to be something that is serious.

Regarding this, if more than one person reports it it just goes automatically into the thread that is made by default in the mods room, so it's fine to report it even though someone else might already have.
