Infractions and Reported Posts

We seem to have a lot of whining from members lately of the "why'd you warn me? Did you warn him/her too?" variety. Let me explain this AGAIN...

If you do not REPORT a post, you have absolutely no right to whine about nothing being done about it. Unless we happen upon a huge violation, if the person the post is directed at it isn't offended, we don't worry about it. So if you don't report it, you obviously aren't offended.

If a posts offends you, REPORT IT. No, nothing will be done if you don't report it. So if the person you're having a problem w/ reports you and you don't report them, then yes you will get the warning or infraction.

If it really is as hard to understand as it seemingly has been this week, please PM a mod and ask us to clarify. You are all grown-ups, ACT LIKE IT!!!

I think the system is flawed... But I'm not about to bitch and moan about it. I think a lot of people whine over silly shit when they need to loosen up.

To clarify...it IS discussed by the mods before a decision is made on infractions. There are some posts that get reported and don't receive infractions or warnings b/c we don't see anything wrong w/ them.

But contrary to popular belief, we don't give infractions simply b/c we're PMSing. :p
 
AND contrary to some popular belief...I have never reported anyone or any post.;) so you dont have to worry with me either...even if you have been told otherwise:cool

I report everything relating to dirty pictures and spammer stuff. Don't need that stuff here.

Although.... sometimes I'm not sure if the stuff I reported was spam. Better to be safe than sorry I always say. :)

Natasha has ALWAYS been so nice to take me aside and line my ass right out. I know she's busy now so how do i find out what I did wrong? :willy_nilly:

Youd KNOW, you wouldnt be able to start topics, see who repped you, PM people or view the New Posts link.

sir, i think maybe there might be some flaws in your own behavior.

i made a post that was meant to be complimentary to you. it was not taken that way and received a warning about it. i have tried to apologize twice to you and have not received a response.

i'm new here and nobody knows me. i'm a crazy old hippy and misunderstood often, but i try real hard to be respectful to everybody and humorous if i'm being disrespectful.

you express a lot of opinions that upset a lot of people and it is apparently difficult for some people to respond to you. i'm feeling that way now and inhibited by the admonitions of staff to say anything past this here now.

Same here.. I report spammers but I thought we were to get tokenz for doing so.. Have yet to see any tokenz given to me and I know I got a few as soon as they posted.. :D Just saying not complaining.. ;)
