Improving indoor air quality benefits family health significantly. Houseplants, regular HVAC maintenance, proper ventilation, and reducing chemical cleaners create cleaner breathing environments. Simple changes make noticeable differences in comfort and respiratory wellness.

Have you noticed air quality issues in your home, and which plants or methods improved your indoor environment?

Just focus on growing indoor plants that are said to produce more oxygen, absorb toxins and improve air quality. Plants like snakeplants, ZZ plant, spider plant, jade can be very good.

Mold thrives in damp environments. Control humidity levels, aiming for 30-50%, using dehumidifiers if necessary.
Fix Leaks: Promptly repair any leaks, whether from plumbing, roofs, or foundations.

Yes, I’ve noticed stuffy air at times, especially in winter. Adding spider plants and snake plants helped freshen the air noticeably. Regularly opening windows and using an air purifier also made a big difference in overall comfort and breathing quality.
