Linux "sudo user" = windows "administrators group"

so if you are not a sudo user on Linux you can't make system changes.
if you aren't sudo user and try to make system changes
OR
you forget to send a command without specifying that you are running it as a su (super user)
then system will record the incident as a security alert
if your system is not part of a corporate domain it
it really won't do anything as far as reporting it.
