Incessant Texting...

I use whatsapp mostly so have about 4 continuous conversations going on. when someone sends me an sms I forget to reply cos whatsapp convo's distract me. And I have just realised I didnt text back my mother from this afternoon....oops!

I prefer texting over talking, but I don't text as much with my new phone. I put a screen protector on it and it makes it much less sensitive to touch, making texts a nightmare. I was so quick at texting with my old phone and I find it frustrating I can't do it at the same speed with this one.

It seems I am like some others who posted before me. If someone texts me while I am at work, I will likely look at their text when I get a free moment and not be able to reply and then forget about it until later that evening or the next day.

I don't mind someone who texts all the time but I DO mind someone who calls and won't shut up. I have one friend who could spend an hour talking without missing a beat. And she isn't ever interested in hearing what I have to say. Blah.

I have a friend like that, too...but it's a guy. I was just talking about him to his old partner the other day (he's a paramedic). I feel bad b/c I need to call him and catch up on what's going on in his life, but I know that when I *do* call him I need to carve out a good 2 hour chunk of time.

I have a friend like that too. I dont mind if ive planned to spend the day catching up but when I ring her to ask something little, I end up.on the phone for ages. And it's usually always the same topic she whinges about...it gets tiresome.
