I might sound controversial but if you see public discussion, you will find that everyone is an expert. We live in a democracy where anyone can claim to be an expert. The real question is whether we listen to them or not. This shouldn’t worry us because we can always avoid advice from random people and only follow those with true expertise and proven experience.

Your point highlights a real issue: open platforms give everyone a voice, which can make it hard to separate informed insight from confident guesswork. You’re right that people can choose whom to trust, but that oversimplifies the problem. Most people aren’t trained to evaluate expertise, and confident misinformation often spreads faster than careful analysis. Relying solely on “proven experience” is also tricky because credentials can be misleading or outdated, and actual experts sometimes disagree.

That’s partly true. Democracy allows everyone to voice opinions, but being heard doesn’t equal expertise. True expertise comes from knowledge, experience, and evidence. Listening widely is fine, but decisions benefit most from informed perspectives rather than assuming everyone’s opinion carries equal weight.
