I am slim and fit because I don't eat junk and get off my ass. You should try it, Dana. Your life would improve no end.

You walked two miles??? Yeah right, dude. You'd be dead if you did that.

LMFAO...wow. You're slim and trim b/c you have an obsession w/ thinspo, if I remember correctly, and think it's "hot" to have rib cage visible. In case you missed the memo, that doesn't make you better than anybody else. I can't believe I'm fixing to take up for Dana after all that's happened recently...but he HAS changed his lifestyle and lost a lot of weight. Perhaps if you were here more often instead of just popping in once in a while to make shitty comments here and there you would know that. IJS.

Wait...come to think of it, I don't think you're the thinspo girl...I think that was someone else. But the rest of my post still stands.

Thinspo? I don't even know what you're talking about. Maybe you've got me confused with someone else? I suggest you check your facts.

Couldn't personal beefs be taken to PMs as to not make threads miserable? :ninja
Definitely something I plan to do instead

I'm deleting the last post. I have told you guys to drop it...that is enough. I don't care what the excuses are, you are both adults, take it to PMs and keep it off the board.

How come you don't drive? Medical reasons?

I have a couple of older relatives that live around my father up in Pennsylvania. They always find a reason why my father (who is now pushing 80 himself) should drive them. Honestly, even I find it perturbing, let alone my father feeling that way.

Hey Dana, didn't you drive once before? I think I read it in some thread. If so, I'd recommend you consider starting again. To me, driving means independence.

It's tough, but here in most parts of the US, you just need a car to get around. There really isn't much question about it. My town has one bus that takes people to nearby towns and NYC on alternating days to shop. The train station is 30 miles away, and that only takes you to NYC. We have a few cab companies, but they're crazy expensive. It once cost me $25 for them to take me to my job when my car was in the shop, a grand total of 4 miles. My town has sidewalks, but they seem to end and start randomly. The city I work in, which has 30k people, is the same way. I have a feeling your area is similar.

If you don't drive for financial reasons, is there a possibility that you could use a family member's car once in a while, since you live with them? That would seem like a practical option if you help chip in with some of the costs.

*sigh* I'm not being funny, but do we REALLY have to go into why Dana doesn't drive EVERY SINGLE THREAD that he makes about it??? The answer is the same today as it was in the last 15 threads.

Having said that, I do agree...if you don't want to wait on cabs or whatever, you should look into getting your license so you'll have more freedom to go and come as you please. ;)
