I'm starting to speak in American...

English as my second lingo sucks ...and still not able to spell etc...but do know what is under a kilt....and I believe they speak beter English in your Country than in Texas HA:24: OOPS

She's right. She tried to teach me some Scottish.

I remember sod, and a few other words, but I don't think those are Scottish.

I have picked up "y'all" instead of the lovely, ocker sounding "you's"..I even put the drawl on it.

I have a Scottish friend and her mother can speak in her mother tongue. I know it's English that's coming out of her mouth but I have to say it sure has a ring to it. I would have to rate it as my second favorite accent. Australian type speaking coming out of a female is one that really gets me cranked.
