I'm starting to like this new Pope

Hey, my dad was basically thrown out of the Catholic church for marrying a woman oustide his religion and he got married in front of a justic of the peace to boot, so I'll admit, I'm kind of biased.

The more I read about this new Pope, the more and more I like him. Dosen't seem to be a holier than though "I'm better than you because I'm the Pope" kind of guy.

Hope he continues his work.

The Catholic church has a winner.
Pope Francis seems to know what's going on and what's needed to be done.
Damage control ?
Slow process but we will see positive changes coming down the pike.
The support for Pope Francis will grow.

i think he focussing on the people, something his predecessor seemed unable to do, Benedict locked himself away and wrote books, Francis will shelter the poor

Pope Benedict filled the position as a employee.

Pope Francis is a working Pope and will be introducing new ideas as well as fixing the old ones.

What I find somewhat sad and amusing is the fact that this new Pope is actually pissing people off because he washed a couple of girls feet.

I sincerely believe that some in the catholic church don't feel like they have a winner.

This guy seems down to earth and actually wants to work other than to dress nicer than everyone else have have them kiss his hand.

Heck, the thought of converting would even cross my mind if the guy sold all that fancy crap the church owns to help those in need. That I think, will be pushing it lol

Interesting though that the other week our methodist minister even talked about this new Pope and what good he can bring.
