Amongst other duties, I am timekeeper for our office. One program we have is Leave donation. For those employees (not our supervisors) that qualify with a medical situation, i.e., cancer treatment, a sick child, dying hubby, etc that have exhausted all their sick leave and annual leave they can ask other employees to donate annual leave.
So an employee in our office donated 4 hours to an employee 5/10.
I am being audited the end of the month. We have the official payroll and our payroll records which don't mesh you have to print one of them and visually compare them side by side.
As I did so, I noticed a 4 hours discrepancy. All I could come up with was the donated leave so I e-mailed my payroll office. She suggested I contact the timekeeper of the leave receipiant.
So I did so. On the donation for is both mine and his phone numbers so it's easy enuf to do. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He had been sitting on it for 3 mos!!!!!! WHY, the employee hadn't put her Social Security Number.
This person is in dire need of leave and this lazy so and so can't a) pick up the phone and ask me? B) look up her name on the e-mail list and e-mail or call her?, Hell, send me a message by passenger pigeon-the office is 300 miles a way I would have gotten it pretty quickly!!!!
I'm so p*ssed. This person only received 14 hours leave, and this lazy sh*t couldn't be bothered to help them!
