Why you guys can say global warming is a complete hoax! We can't no for sure until it happens... You bring up things like Y2K and stuff well I can bring up things like the scentist who said the tsunami was going to happen a few christams's ago, no one believed him but, it happened.

I would also like to compare it to religion, there is plenty of evidence on both sides of the subject that god created earth, but, we can't no which one is right until we die.

The same goes for global warming, there is plenty of evidence on BOTH sides of the argument that it is real or not real. We can't be sure until it hits us, or doesn't, but, you guys would certainly look like idiots if it does happen.

And I for one would rather be safe then sorry.

I think they make it seem bigger than it really is.. Society always blows things out of proportion to get people to react. The fact of the matter is fluxes in weather have been going on for millions of years, just because ice is melting rapidly, temps are rising or we get an abundance of precipitation doesn't mean it's due to the new wave definition of global warming. But at the same time that doesn't mean our mishandling of fossil fuels or overuse of electricity and our lack for caring for our environment aren't important.

There's no doubt, however, that mankind has had a large effect on the planet. We've been pumping hundreds of tons of pollution into the atmosphere since the industrial revolution.
