This is my baby bunny rabbit Rosie. I've had her for almost 3 months now.
I took her to the vets today to have her checked over and to book her in to get neutered on monday. She was very stressed at the vets so when i went shopping i nipped into the petshop to buy her a little treat. I bought Chocolate raisins from the rabbit and small pet section. I assumed it was raisins covered in rabbit safe chocolate. She has chocolate drops at home and LOVES them. So i buy them and when i get home i give her a couple and put some in my pocket. As shes a young house rabbit i keep a few treats on me to treat her when she uses her litter tray. I took treats out of my poket and they started melting in my hand. Im pretty sure rabbit chocolate doesn't melt. So i smell one. smells very chocolaty. I taste one. It a real chocolate raisin. WTF?! you cant give rabbits real chocolate! what are the pet shop playing at selling this shit with their small animal treats?! They could KILL my rabbit, for what so they can make 99p a bag? seriously?!

Such a pretty bunny! I would call the store and find out why they are selling them if they're not safe. Did you do a search online for any info?

My dog got in my daughter's room a few weeks ago and found a decent sized chocolate bar and ate the whole thing. And she's a diabetic! So I called the vet and she said it's takes a large amount for it to be toxic and to just watch her. Luckily she was fine.

:( aw
She's cute. My pomeranian recently ate a metric ton of semi sweet chocolate, I thought he would die given his weight and the levels of theobromine but he was fine. Stupid on them though.

my old bunny used to steal bit of chocolate all the time they do LOVE it but its not something you should be deliberatly feeding them tbh. It is not good for them too much sugar makes their heart rate increase. my old bunny died of a heart attack and a few days later i found a half eaten coffee chocolate under the bed :/
