I find the ignore function to be quite useless, seeing that "This user is on your ignore" message is more irritating than seeing their posts, I wish the ignore function would hide the fact that they ever posted.

i don't put anybody on ignore and i really would appreciate it if anybody has put me on ignore that they would let me know so that i don't waste any time or energy trying to communicate with them.

How are they supposed to see this message to let you know if they have you on ignore?
