I do it so quickly there is no smell, thank you very much.

No kidding. I do that faster than I pee. The thought of someone knowing I'm in the bathroom more than the time it takes to pee freaks me out.

now that i know what we're talking about, yeah, turn the fan on and close the door.
the other thing that helps is reducing the amount of meat and starches in your diet that lead to seriously offensive odors in your stool. more fresh fruits and vegetables and less of that other stuff results in a much less nasty smell to the poop.

I usually Febreeze the bathroom afterwards just out of courtesy. LOL
If the spray is there I'll use it. Any type of smell of crap isn't nice, even if it is my own. The smell varies really...I prefer to use air re-fresheners that don't mix with the smell of the crap and make it even worse, erk.
