and someone asked for a medium mocha latte, what would you think that was?

WELL, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT!


FIRST: IT'S NOT FUCKING HOT CHOCOATE YOU NON ENGLISH SPEAKING DOUCHES!!

SECOND: IT'S A FUCKING LATTE! WHICH IS COFFEE - ALWAYS!!!

FOURTH: I SAID MOCHA LATTE, NOT MOCHA FRITTWATUYAGHIASFUCK OR WHATEVER YOU HAVE THERE.

SIXTH: DO I WANT CREAM AND SUGAR?? IT'S A MUTHERSHITTEN MOCHA LATTE! IT'S A PREMIXED SHITTEN DEAL THERE!!

This is the second time I've gone to this Dunks somewhat nearby and they've asked these questions! Is there something new in the coffee world that a latte could mean 986487 different things?!

I have had similar experiences... I hate that employees don't know the basics of the products they are selling... Learn your product people... and if you are going to work at a fast food type business, then be able to speak and understand English at the same fast pace.
 
yes there is: latte; it can mean one of many different types of drinks, usually mixed with some particular grind of coffee beans.

if you wanted to be specific, you could have just said "small decaf with sugar and cream" and they would have known exactly what to do. however, with the cute names, corporate america seems to enjoy confusing their own customers, which is ironic, because they want customers, but as you see, it can be frustrating; at some point, you will just stop dunkin'

That's the problem with a lot of things now....people are just not engaged in what they are doing, theres no pride.

And I don't want to hear this crap by anyone about "why would you take pride in a minumum wage job?"

I think you should take a little pride in whatever you do, learn how to be more effective.

But it just doesn't seem to happen. Hell you take some of these kids graduating from college with engineering degrees, I am not exactly sure what they did for four years, but they basically have no ability to think on thier own at all, they want you(me) to do everything for them.

I like to MENTOR.....Not do your job for you..

WTF, Dunks is NOT a friggin gourmet coffee place! ON THEIR MENU: it says "MOCHA!"

This was their premade, or whatever hot mocha, with whipped cream. NOW, SUDDENLY I have to say something that's not even on the menu! Mocha Latte was what I was told the first time this happened. and after some words, I yelled "you people are CRAZY!"

Oh yea... anyway, they have no "LATTE" on the menu, but they havw Mocha, but I'm supposed to NOW say "MOCHA LATTE" when it was always MOCHA and it's not even the name of the product on the menu!!!

That's their premixed mochalsjdlksjkl blah, thing. I haven't been in a bit, but NOWWWWWWWWWW, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, it has to be mocha latte, hot, NOT hot chocolate, cream and sugar, whipped cream. W>T>F>

Yea, I forgot to mention that I'd been there a ton before and always orderd what the menu said. lollllllllll, that's why I'm going nuts, because seriously, IT'S ON THE MENU! lmao!

Last week, I meant every bit of yelling 'YOU PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!" at them, because I was hella grouchy, since I had back to back meetings that monring. THEY DESERVED IT! :cool

There isn't ONE place around here that you could go to, (fast food - wise), that you could get through with placing an order, WITHOUT ever saying "I'm sorry, I can't understand you."
