If you suddenly received 1 million dollars, whats the first thing you would do?

I would probably be in shock for a couple days first, so I might not spend it immediately. But it would probably the most of it in my savings account, buy I new car, an apartment and go travel for at least one month. If I could I would also give some to my mom and my aunt, because they always helped me and I know they would appreciate some extra financial help.

First of all I would get an astute financial planner and make some donations to my favorite charities. Secondly I would pay off all of my debt. I would set aside money for the future and finally I would probably take a trip to Australia for a few months. Always something would be set aside to help friends in need, especially those who have helped me out.

If I had a million dollars, I'd do several things. The first thing I'd do is take care of my parents and the rest of my family with about 200k. After that, I'd use the rest to purchase a house and a nice vehicle. That wouldprobably leave me with around 300k-400k. I'd take that and invest all of it in real estate along with stocks and find different ways that I can make more cash.

I'd probably give half of it to my mom first. 'Cause she deserves it. And then I'd pay off my school tuition and loans, and put it in the bank. God, I know, I'm so boring, but I've seriously thought about this a lot haha. Who hasn't?

ETA - actually I'd probably use most of it to buy a ton of stuff in Italy when I go in a couple of days 'cause right now I've got no money, and I'm probably going to have to eat fiber bars to sustain myself rather than delicious, authentic Italian pasta.

The first thing I would do is go crazy. I would be in such shock that I won that much money. Then I would buy a house for me and my family. I would also invest in a good business to keep the money stable. I don't really want big flashy things because I'm not very materialistic.

If i were to win 1 million dollars the first thing I would do is go on a vacation. While I am on a boat or island I will put my plan together. I will create a 5 year plan for myself (I learned that in school) :clap lol

If this were to happen, I'd be pretty darn happy! The first thing that I would do is go house hunting for my parents. We live in an apartment in Toronto and it becomes very annoying at times. My parents really want to move out into a small house (because they don't want to clean a big house) and so I'd first purchase them a house of their own. Another thing that I would do is pay off any debts that I have for obvious reasons. Then I'd put some aside for schooling for any children that I would have. Lastly, I'd put some down for a house, for me and my boyfriend to live happily ever after. :cool

I would invest half of my money in banks and other investments, and as to the remaining half, I would use the same to study anew. I will not only study to earn a masteral degree in law, but I would also learn other martial arts such as aikido as a complement. An achiever's passion to learn does not stop, but rather it is a process that goes on until the achiever decides to end the journey.
