I dislike all four major candidates. McCain and Huckabee are things I'm far to polite to say and Hilary strikes me as a power hungry witch. Obama seemed to be the best of the four but I'm not overly fond of him either. I planned on voting for him but i think my vote would be better used on promoting a lesser known , more ideal candidate. Not sure which one yet.
Except that that former terrorist wasn't his freind. He simply sat on a board with him and said that they were "friendly". You can be "friendly" to someone you disagree with and not be their freind. Being "friendly" simply means not being hostile towards someone.

I'm w/ the homos that think he'll be assassinated. Unfortunately even though MOST of the country is ready for a black president (or a woman president, etc) there are enough racist assholes out there that will be threatened by it...and when someone like that feels threatened they strike out w/ violence. It wouldn't matter if it was Obama or Colin Powell (who would absolutely get my vote if he ever ran)...the first black President will be assassinated or it will at least be attempted. Sucks that people are that ignorant...but it's the facts.

This topic is so stupid. I think if there was going to be an attempt on his life it wouldve happened already simply because a black man is just that hopeful for the presidency... And frankly I'm surprised, threats were never an ordeal when Jesse Jackson ran in the 80s especially with his racist comment about Jews :24:
Absolutely not (on the not voting for a black President)!!! I agree that security should be increased around him should he be elected...but it still doesn't rule out an attempt, unfortunately.
