I'm gonna be working out of Jacksonville, but instead of driving 80 miles a day they're gonna have a government van pick everyone up at the airport we were supposed to work at. But since they have to go through the trouble of doing that, "unfortunately" we have to work full-time for as long as we're at Jacksonville.

They said it should only be for 90 days at the most, which works out perfectly if I get accepted into the Highway Patrol.

As most of you know, I've been unemployed since November. Then I found a part-time job with the TSA (bag-searchers at airports) at the small airport right down the road. This week was training, and starting tomorrow I'm flying to Oklahoma City for 10 days of more training.

Then I wake up this morning and see that the only airline that flies out of this airport is officially out of business, bankrupt and they have no more flights.

Which, most likely, makes me jobless. Still. The only other airport nearby would be an 80-mile round trip, obviously it's not worth it to work part-time there. :willy_nilly:

You know, God lets everything happen for a reason. Maybe something bad might have happened if you went on that plane or got that job. God always puts us through tests to see if we will keep our faith in Him; don't worry, God will open the right path for you.
