I'm sure that I couldn't do your job because I'm not the people person and I don't have the training that you do, but on the other side, I doubt you could do everything in my job description either.

IMO, the differences make people equals. I'm sure we could both be trained to do each others job quite well though. Just a matter of if you like getting up into attics to run wire through insulation and down walls. lol

I def agree. Actually it's good to get home and be able to forget about it. When you are working working with people, and even more with people who need help because of their situation, it's difficoult not to let it affect you.

And for the first 8 years of my marriage, my wife made a LOT more than I, and for a few years while I was in college and working part time, well in excess of three times as much. It never bothered me because we just divvied things up, worked on it all together proportionally and made our way.

Now that I'm done with the education for ten years now, she's a stay at home mom and I'm making almost twice as much as she and I ever did jointly. And never once has either one of us thrown it in the other's face. What would that accomplish?

As far as the bassackwards attitude that a man needs to make more than a woman, well, there's not much I can add to that argument. It's 2007, knuckledraggers. Get on board with it. :cool :muscles:

I've never had a problem with a woman earning more than I, and I cannot imagine why any confident man would. It's actually kind of sexy. Like having sex with the boss or someone that outranks you.

I dont think it matters. some people dont deserve the money they make, sometimes its because of family, friends or just right place right time kinda thing. thats the only thing that gets to me. if she had a wicked easy job that payed alot because daddy gave her the job i would be a little upset.

Why would that get to you? So what if it is because of family or friends that someone has an easy job and gets paid a lot? Why be upset or more than likely jealous about it. Be happy for their good fortune. And be thankful for what you have regardless of what others have materially or good fortune-wise.

the only time I would have a problem with my girl making more money than me is if she tried holding it over my head like it was some leverage over me....other than that I can go for a good sugarmomma...it would be a nice change of pace

We're not getting a 67" HDTV because most of our money comes from me and I don't want one.
