This guy I work with was just telling me a few minutes ago about an ordeal that happened to him with Wal-Mart.
He said this past weekend he and his wife went to WalMart and bought a 47 inch TV, paid $1200 for it. They got it home, re-arranged things in their living room, went to open the box and there was no TV in the box. What was in the box was 2 bundles of shingles. He called WalMart and someone from WalMart told him "How do we know that you didnt do this"
Anyhow, long story short.......Wal-Mart traced down what happened and someone from the warehouse was taking the TVs out of the boxes and selling them himself.

That happened to me once but with a much smaller item. It was a DVD burner I bought from a computer store. They wouldn't exchange it either! :mad
But after that I always open items in the store in front of store employees just to be safe.

That is f*cked up! The Walmart up here actually open the boxes of big purchases like that before you leave the store, Something similar probably happened for them to do that here!
