They've got a new show coming to the network called Down Home with the Nealy's. They've appeared on Paula's Home Cooking; but Food Network really hasn't had an African American show in years and Simply Delicioso is the first hispanic show Ive seen in a while. I'm not trying to pull a race card but they show alot of shows hosted by the Caucasian persuasion lately.

I don't know if they are getting trouble or not but it would be good to see them mix up the programming some.

Is the show only going to have one episode? How many ways can watermelon and fried chicken be prepared?

There's at least 3 shows with black hosts now. They are all very good :)

No comparison to the Italians who are about 1/2 the hosts, and I'm not complaining.

Only one, Sarah Moulton who is a whopping 5 ft tall in her red converse hightops :)

For the record, what I meant was that about 50% of the hosts are Italian:p

Yeah they were pretty funny.......that was in the early Food network days. Its changed a lot since then.

I still remember my mom watching the Galloping Gourmet and Julia Childs........now those were the days. No margarine or fat free anything :thumbup
