It came at me while I was taking this picture. I managed to escape so you all get to see it. :D

The full moon is very bright tonight. Nothing spectacular but I always like taking pictures of it. :D

I noticed how bright and pretty it was tonight, and hoped someone here would take a picture of it.

You just made my day, Zirc! That's an AWESOME shot.

I was thinking 'why is a werewolf attack story in the pictures area?'

Great moon picture! How do you get it so detailed? I suck at pictures of the moon, no matter how close it looks it always turns into a white speck in front of the lens.

those in the meteorology field call this a "snows" moon...why? I have no idea, but better not give us more of that today...supposed to get up to 60 degrees! (15C for you other folks)

thanks Guyzerr

I had it zoomed in to 300mm and then I cropped it quite a bit yet. It's all in the wrist. What kind of lenses do you have? I've never been able to get a good moon shot with my kit lens or my 55-200mm zoom lens.

Great job Zirc. Tripod?
No sir, hand held. :D It was too cold last night for me to bother dragging out the tripod. As it was, I would take a shot, run inside, look at it, make adjustments and run out for another shot. The moon was so bright I didn't really need a tripod anyway. I think my shutter speed for this one was 1/1000. At that speed I generally don't have an issue with camera shake.
