I think...

It's beyond fucking funny that people can get worked up, and to the point of "hurt feelings" in a freegin internet forum. Seriously, unless you have convered with someone for maybe a few years, and just haven't had a chance to meet, I could never imagine that some could get so butthurt about someone's remarks on a stinking message board!

Thing is .. A good majority of the people here have/want to/will meet each other .. and many have known each other for years and years.

That's why most of them have their panties in such a bunch .. they thought they knew people and it's coming back to them .. that they might not really have .. and it's very aggravating/annoying/dissapointing when that happens.

Elle....So am I to understand that you have no desire to forge REAL friendships here? You are only here to play around and entertain yourself?

I understand Bacon's getting upset. But again, to run off...something a bit overboard.

He left because he felt many of his "friends" were not on his side .. I'm sure he felt very .. exposed at that point.

Wouldn't you, if you felt all your friends turned on you?

I'm not saying they did or didn't do that .. but it seems like (from the feel of his farewell post) that it might have been how he was feeling.

I'm not baiting, I'm asking a question. Don't assume that I'm someone that would do that....you don't know me.

Ok. Maybe he jumped the gun a bit? Maybe assuming a bit too much in that dept.?

Look, there is always going to be disagreements at a forum, in some way or another. You're never going to escape it. But, to jump to the gun of say leaving, it might be better to have a few conversations, instead of running away.

But, yes, I'd be pissed, too.

I wasn't assuming dear....I was asking a question....which I've noticed you are tactfully avoiding :)

If you stick around I think you will learn I'm one of the most laid back and easy going members here.....I love pretty much everybody, and when the occasion arises that I do disagree with someone, I take it to PM to straighten it out....I just don't believe in making a bad situation worse :)

I answered, you ignored.

Ooooooooooook, then why tell me I am 'tactfully avoiding' your question, when I clearly answered you on page 1?

It's not my style to debate unfairly. If I bring up a point or someone asks me a question, I answer. Unless it's starts getting into a ridiculous, shit flinging, word fight. Then, I quit.

Kind of like now. I'm going to watch my movie on movieforumz.

I stopped doing that when I left elementary school.
Then you are in the minority .. most adults still care what happens between them and their friends, especially if they are close friends. Friends often times feel like family .. and when that happens it changes a lot of aspects on things.

And that's you .. not everyone responds the same way to every situation .. to think that they do .. is pretty ridiculous.

I'm thinking a lot of this stemmed more outside the forum than actually on it.
