I work at a doctors office and I heard, at least in VA, that about 40% of the people who have been told they have the swine flu actually don't. Doctors are just trying to keep anything from spreading at all.
I don't buy it...R u a doctor? No. So, check before making assumptions. OMG, I have diarrhea, I got swine flu! Right...

Well, to be fair, it's a symptom that's common to any strain of flu, not just H1N1.
No they said diarrhea and vomiting was specific to Swine. Not everyone who has swine gets diarrhea or vomiting, but people with seasonal flu don't.

Oh, I know. I just thought he was being a bit hypocritical by complaining that people aren't doctors and saying it is the swine flu but it's okay to say that it isn't as he is not a doctor either.
Sorry, I think working in a doctor's office and hearing some of the things our insane patients say just gets me sometimes
Diarrhea is a symptom of the flu but it's just uncommon and more common in the swine flu. People have had vomiting and diarrhea and just had some other strain of flu.
I had vomiting and diarrhea AT THE SAME TIME (my poor mother) when I had the flu once when I was a kid. I don't think H1N1 was around back then. :ninja
True about diarreah. But Nausea and Vomiting are swine flu only.
Maybe I had Bovine flu when I was a kid. That would explain a lot. 
H1N1 was around in the 60s or 70s, one of those.

I have done alot of research on H1N1 and my daughter had it. The first sign is a sore throat. It is a little different than the reg flu. The symptoms are a sore throat, a fever that spikes quickly, body aches, and an upset stomach. Once again I will say, The swine flu isn't killing people, it's the underlying resperatory problems and pre-existing conditions killing people. Just go to the Dr. get some Tamiflu(if they give it to you it depends on your age) and go rest. I hope you feel better soon.
Question....so if you had a sore throat...and the next day you ache all over, you have a fever, and still have the sore throat, you probably have swine flu?
You probably have *A* flu. If it's accompanied by a temp.
