The suggestion that a cold, or a flu is a H1N1 without it being diagnosed by a test is like saying I have cancer because you discover a lump somewhere. It can just as easily be a dozen more common things but only a test can determine that. It must just be popular now to "have swine flu"......

H1N1 is not nearly severe as you guys are making it out to be. To compare it with cancer is ridiculous.

If you read what I said, I did not compare it to cancer. And to suggest without being diagnosed that one has H1N1 regardless of how serious it is, is ridiculous.

It's just a different version of the flu, not a ridiculous suggestion at all. And I haven't said that I know for sure it is, just that I think it is, I have diarrhea which suggests that it's swine flu over the regular flu.

In my neck of the woods, if you have any flu-like symptoms..... they are NOT testing for H1N1. They are saying if there is a temperature/fever involved... just assume it is because of the timing. Then they are giving out a prescription of Tamiflu and the likes.

Because on the news, not that long ago, they said they don't test for individual cases of swine flu anymore and we are assuming 90% of the people with symptoms have swine flu and they are to be treated the same as regular flu, antibiotics, fluids, and rest. Going to the doctor and being told I have swine flu or I don't and have the regular flu, is just going to be a waste of my time and money, when I would still be doing what I am doing now.
