I really need to remember

To take my damn camera with me everywhere I go. I see so many shots during the day that I think would be great, but the only thing that I have is my phone.

Yeah, I say this a lot. I have an slr that I love, but I'm always leaving it on the side. The iPhone is not an acceptable alternative.

I have a similar problem. I keep seeing amazing shots too except they seem to show up when it's -20C outside. Sorry, but I'm not going to freeze my ass off for a cool picture. :surrender

Back in my old slide / film days I always had three bodies hanging off my neck or in a bag. Today with the cost of stuff I settle for one body and a few lens that are always with me on the weekends. I never leave home without at least my body and one lens. I'm considering a second body but can't make up my mind which one. There's no point in owning the gear if you don't use it. Cold won't stop me from shooting but I never take my gear out in the rain. I shoot from my car.

Um... not anymore but I did when I had the three bodies that I mentioned. That was in Edmonton and it gets just as cold there. Somewhere I have some night shots of the oil refineries and I used some fancy starlight filters to make the lights sparkle. I'll try and find 'em. You'll see the snow on the ground and steam pouring outa the stacks. It musta been about - 30 that night. Brrrrrrrrrrrr

Really? Are you using iPhoto? I have a mac + an iphone so they work together pretty well, as soon as I plug my phone in it starts up iphoto, I click the photos I want and it uploads them. Seemples!

Exactly... I have a Canon Rebel XSi that I got a little over three years ago. But it doesn't get very much use unfortunately. That needs to change!

Seriously! Today I saw this guy, fuckin' weird. He looked like he was wearing a big green stocking. And he had on red booty shorts. It was funny, but if I had a good camera and was at the right position in traffic it could've been a really cool, artsy-fartsy picture.
