I normally do tuck my fingers under but i was distracted and well lets say i nearly lost a digit..... close call indeed !!

ive cut the tip of my thumb off before with a huge steak knife
about 1/8 inch
nail with it
if that wasnt bad enough when i got to the hospital
they scrubbed it with and iodine brush
and then put a needle right into the cut area
right after i cut it off
every time my heart beat it shot a stream of blood
i called and friend they were hesitant to immediately come over
and i started yelling at them and hung the phone up
i can fall 14 foot land flat on my back on plywood busted my helmet watch
and i just stood up and walked off

thankfully the knife wasnt as sharp as it should have been, I nicked my finger but nothing that didnt require more than a bandaid
still you have to be very careful when using a knife. know matter ho sharp or dull it is you can cut yourself with any knife.
