I've had terrible days where all I did was make a joke, an innocuous joke at that, and bam! I catch crap and I was in lovely mood.

Well, my tone WAS bitchy on one of my comments, but the other 2 I didn't think they were. Like, literally, all I did was tell the woman that if traffic problems going in to our Air Force Base made her physically ill then she needed to count her blessings not to have more pressing issues in her life. I even made it a point to tell her that I was not being sarcastic, I was being sincere, and that I make it a point to look on the positive side of things every day.
