I went to my first WalMart when I got to Canada! I was all excited but it turns out it's EXACTLY the same as Big W and not really all that exciting. However, I am still happy to be able to email home and tell my sister I've been to an honest to goodness WalMart.
I love Walmart!

I hate Wal-mart, Its a horrible place, although I shop there all the time, I won't buy groceries,
The biggest issue with Wal-Mart, you can't get out of there without spending at least a hundred dollars,
You go there to get a couple things, and what you have bought there every month for the last three, because you tried it once, when they didn't have the product you were looking for, and you really liked it, so you go back to buy it, and SURPRISE.. no they don't carry it anymore, so now you have to look around to find something else that will work.. And of course ( just like thier evil plan) You end up seeing other stuff that you reallly didn't need, but damn its like 2.97 why pass it up, and then you see something else, that reminds you of something else you need, and so on, and so on, you go to check out, still stressing about the product you could never find to replace the one they stopped carrying, and the clerk sais that will be 132.29 WHAT.. I didnt buy anything, your looking at your basket, at your reciept, trying to figure out what the hell you bought, since everything was cheap, how the hell did it cost so much.
Hence the nickname the hundred dollar club, Its an evil plot, addict and discontinue, and when that doesn't work, they rearrange the store for the same effect, the more you have to look around, the more you will spend.

I shouldn't be allowed in WalMart alone for that very reason. I have had John have to literally drag me away from the make up or DVD section. I buy things I don't need because they are so cheap. But it adds up real quick!

What would it be like with no wally world? I drive 60 miles one way to attend my "local" Walmart! Fuckin place sucks money right out of my pocket but I love it.

If I get bored, I go to Wal-Mart. That's really about the only place to go around here. It's fun to people watch on the weekends though. You get some people coming in at midnight in their jammies, and right are their heels are girls dressed up and coming back from a night out on the square. It's much more fun to watch when they are drunk and wobble in their heels though.

I go into Walmart in search of something... the would be about 20bucks.. come out with 200bucks worth of stuff.. then sit there reading the receipt and going how the hell did I spend so much!
Go to the kids clothing section.. .. you pick up one shirt, then see another.. you think oh I will get both.. they are only 3 bucks each.. well you pick up 5 then pants are 7 bucks each so you pick up a couple pairs.. then you go to the toys.. oh it's only 10 bucks.. see a movie or two.. 5/10 bucks each.. then go to the food isle.. oh that's new another 5 bucks..
I am really happy the closest super centre is a half hour away.... and our nearest normal Walmart is 12min..
Edit... and you forget the damn thing you went there for!

My one and only "nearby" Wally World is 60 miles away...120 miles round trip....forget something, forget it.
That's like when I lived back home. There are two Walmarts in the whole province... One is 45min away from my mom's house and the other one is an hour and a half. ... So yeah.. forget something.. .you get it next time you go to the city..:surrender

Yep! we go about once every 6 weeks or so.
When I was a teen.. once a month.. Till I got my license then it was whenever I wanted to...
Forthings like formula, diapers and that kinda stuff.. it's the cheapest place to get them. So I tend to end up going more often now.. and spending more money.. :surrender
