But.....tonight she called me fustrated at me because she could not get a blueray to play for the kids (movie night). I took the HDMI cord to work with me today to try out an old monitor. So I explained to her over the phone to unhook the HDMI cord from our satellite reciver and just plug it into the blueray player. She did that just fine. I told her that instead of the setting HDMI 1 she would have to set the TV to HDMI 2. She did that just fine. She then was getting really mad becuase the blueray player was not loading. So I reminded her that she needed to put the movie into the machine for it to play. It can't just stay in the case.....

You knew it was movie night...why didn't you hook it up so it would work before you left to avoid the frustration for your wife?

I loaded my sons DeeVeeDee today, couldn't get it working. I was so close to calling Bryan before I decided to eject and check for scratches...

I put it in backwards :D

What's a DVD? People still use those things? Oh wait, are those the things that Xbox games are on? :)

I download everything and watch thru my Xbox so this concept is just silly. :p

Kidding.

I hope yall are joking about "why didn't you hook it up before you left" b/c that makes it sound like us little ole women are too dumb to hook it up on our own, LOL Not to mention, hooked up it still wouldn't have worked w/o her putting the movie in, LOL

Sometimes I don't know how my fiance can stand my quirks...

This morning I told him the following story:

"Last night, it was so weird, I got a call from Dr. Kimble's office at like 7:00 PM. I didn't answer it, I let it go to voicemail. Then I checked it and it was an automated recording saying "To confirm that you will attend this appointment, please press 1." So I pressed one, and the recording started over, ending with the part that told me to press 1 again. So I pressed 1...and it kept repeating. Finally I hung up, what was that, how to entertain an idiot? I don't get it."

My fiance said:

"Wait...so you were in your voicemail....no longer connected to the call...or the automated service....and you don't know why it didn't work... >_>"

yeah. I'm slow.
