I'm not a tidy person, and paperwork wise, sometimes my filing cabinet can get out of hand.
But from about 2004 when I started to keep everything on electronic file, I've got my stuff together.
Little battle going on with a manufacturer, and the one thing I learned from working with a publicly traded company is keep your records on file and in order, so when someone questions something, BINGO!
Take the 10 minutes you need for one job and scan and file, and 5 years later you'll be glad you did
