I dunno what it is. As much as I know it to be true that I'm sure the owner of this forum would have preferred to have the domain offtopic.com... I'm a lot more comfortable here than over there. It is insane how many people are there, I just can't keep up with their main section. There are too many people and I think it's probably a heck of a lot harder to meet new people because you will be posting with strangers so often.

Anyways yeah, offtopicz is really doing it for me so far. Lots of friendly people :). Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Good to have you here and glad you like it Ziggy. Lots of peeps that come here say the same thing.
It's almost like it's a refreshing difference. We are a pretty close-nit community here and we like to think we look after our own. You'll find lots of different peeps from all walks of life each with their own experiences and things we could learn from one another. We play a lot, we argue a lot too* (as in all families), but one thing is outstanding is that there's a tremendous outpouring of support in times of need and especially when it counts. No doubt you'll notice that.


*with regards the arguing/debating, we encourage differences of opinions but discourage personal attacks/name calling and there are penalties for making the choice. Basically, due consideration is the key.

I hope you continue to enjoy your time with us.

Actually we made a poll for the members on a name.. You can find that poll somewhere. My then husband got the domain. The END. lol :)
