I kind of feel bad about how I feel about this.

I am often reminded the definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing and expect different results. As a student of human nature I know this to be true. A guy I went to school with changed his status on facebook this morning to engaged. If he marries this woman I believe it will be marriage number 4. All the others have ended in divorce and according to him always the ex-wife's fault. I have trouble buying that he is always the one done wrong and yet here he goes again. I just shrugged my shoulders when I read he is engaged again. I don't give them long odds to succeed.

I'm think you're probably right though, Fred. I would figure that is what most divorcees say, especially because marriage ended poorly, most people don't want to accept responsibility for their portion of the problems, or at least admit them to their friends. :dunno

I know what you mean Fred. There's this couple who were bf, gf for a long time. They broke up and got back together I don't know how many times over about five years. They constantly fight and they live in separate houses. They even fought on the day of the marriage (at a hitching post type place) as to which house they would live at. I just don't have high hopes their marriage will last. I congratulated them, but I wouldn't put money on their chances.....

I have a friend from high school whose statuses I finally hid on Facebook b/c they are literally like this:

Monday - Fuck that bitch. Worst thing that ever happened to me!
Tuesday - I don't care what you guys think. I love her and we're going to be together whether you approve or not.
Wednesday - Fucked over again. Thinking of doing something stupid.
Saturday - I have found the love of my life. This woman is the best thing that has EVER happened to me.
Monday - Fuck that bitch. Worst thing that ever happened to me!
