I hit a perfectly healthy cat doing 70 mph in my truck in 2006, and a perfectly healthy crow hit the window sill of my car in 2005 while I was doing 60.

Somehow I think a hurt bat isn't too big of a deal.

You two above me are heartless. Bats get a horrible reputation because of untrue stereotypes about them! They are really cute animals. That must have been horrible, I hate seeing animals in pain but it's really hard to kill them too. I had to do a mercy killing on a hedgehog which got run over once and it was horrible.

Thats because the bat was in pain and unlikely to survive, different situation to an unharmed baby bird sitting at the side of the road.

The bird had actually fallen out of our tree onto the sidewalk. Thing couldn't fly and could barely walk.

Hey Heather I think me and you just got called heartless!

My opinion, bats are filthy! I dont care if they eat bugs or not. They carry rabies.

There is a dude that comes to the ER quite frequesntly for rabies shots because he was inside a WalMart where a bat happen to have gotten in and he happen to be the lucky one that got bit by the bat minding his own business.
