I just realised something

So my arms are weird...I know I have eczema and all but I always wondered about these weird tiny as hell minuscule red pimply dots on my upper arms, and I think it's keratosis pilaris. So gross, this must be why my arms are always so yucky feeling...unless I moisturise or use something that softens the skin.
I hate my arms :(

Anyone have any suggestions?

Haha, I think I am quite good at self-diagnoses, I once managed to figure out what a lump in my finger was! :D

But anyway, my mum has always told me I have eczema, because it runs on her side of the family, she has it too I think. It's supposed to be mild but I'm questionning whether I even have eczema because I always thought it was the red stuff on my arms but apparently not lol. And the pics of eczema online are really severe and mine's nothing like that lol.
I wouldn't mind seeing a dermatologist, when I have the money, I just want something to kill those stupid rough little bastards on my arms lol.

Yeah I am pretty pale too lol. I can make them semi-softer by using the moisturising shower milk stuff on a puff but sometimes it doesn't work. And I moisturise every day too. I'd love one of those KP creams, I want to see if they work, and I want to have smoother arms like normal people!

Yeah, the only place I have it is on my arms and legs too (mainly on my calves/shins). I wouldn't care if my legs stayed the same because they're just my legs and I can keep that skin soft but my arms I want to change. And it doesn't help when I have a sister who years ago felt my arm and was turned off by it lol, or kids who have asked me what's wrong with my skin and asked if it's contagious lol.

Of course i agree with everyone, that only a dermatologist will be able to diagnose you for that skin condition :)

While on this phase though b4 u see that skin MD- i just have a few Qns to ask :p

Are they itchy or not? and it's like patchy red pimply stuff that dries out sometimes and sometimes not? Are they much worst when winter season sets in ?

The reason why I ask is bcoz when i used to live in Chicago- I had those type specifically on the upper arm and same description as you mentioned. It was worst during winter time. I tried a lot of different moisturizers and nothing happened. It was on and off and it never cleared :(

Till i was advised to use body oil/baby oil right after shower and apply loads on that area. After it dries out- use additional Vitamin A & D ointment and keep on applying it after the ointment dries out throughout the whole day/nite while awake. When it had crusted- at the shower- you need to slough off the dead skin through body scrub ( loofah or anything u prefer to use) it will bring out the renewed skin. Afterwards, just maintain it with regualr moisturizer as you're doing now. Hope it helps ;)
