it looks cool as shit, but way complicated

when you look through it the lens is clean and not cracked?

is there film in it??? I would make sure to rewind just in case there is some really old film in it - you could develop it and get some surprises!!

anyways - looks inside and see how clean it is inside.

HOLY CRAP!!!

i went looking through the bag and found several hundred dollars in foreign money from France, Italy and Japan its all dated between 1938 and 1943 and old us coins from the 1890's. im also looking through a box that was next with more cool old stuff in it

I have a bunch of foreign currency from my older brother's travels but it's far more recent that what you have. I'm very jealous.

can one of you photography gurus tell me if i should bother using it?

Why not give if you don't mind film and have some patience fiddling with stuff. Here's a workable link for the manual.

Here's some more info on it. It wasn't very expensive when it was produced.

ok, ..i think i found someones secret stash that they weren't able to come back for..(no-one is allowed in here but me now and the vultures are long gone)..i found figurines and vase's from Japan and im assuming that like most every thing else in the box it is from from the war and before, 2 old Ford pocket knives, unused stamps, stuff from Germany... alot .

dont have time to go through it all now, i need to get back to work, but ill try and put some pictures of some stuff up tonight

oh and i did check out the camera...the original manual is in the case along with all the equipment (3 lenses, flash,a tele-wide finder?) all in there own formed pseudo hardened leather cases, it does appear to have film in it (its on shot 12), and fortunately someone was smart enough to take out the battery

Nice camera! It looks like one my dad got from his dad.

As for the other stuff, you might want to take the coins, cash, stamps, and smaller stuff and put it in a safe deposit box at the bank since you mentioned a prior vulture problem...just to be on the safe side even if they are seemingly long gone.
