I heard one of the best exhaust notes ever!

Belive it or not i was sitting at a light in my dads Cobra and i was being good. I saw a Black VW, with black rims. It was comming through a Wal-Mart stop light and went through it red. He wasnt speeding, then i took off and was behind him and as i shifted into 4th.. he took off like a bad ass. And i got shivers. It was a R32, R34. Couldnt remember. But it had dual exhaust, not sure even if it was aftermarket. But it was the nicest sounding exhaust note i have heard since Magnapacks on a Stang. I loved it. Needless to say i stayed behind him cause it sounded great. Never caught a chance to tell him anytihng. Anyone else heard a VW with dual exhaust?

yes, i saw a VW 4door coupe at work with aftermarket wheels and a dual exhaust. i couldnt see what model it was but it sounded descent.

Yup, golf just like that and had black rims. I should have blown him away, but i just loved being behind that car and hearing it. Thats what a Stang V6 should sound like. I really enjoyed that. Wouldnt mind finding a sound clip so i could hear it again!

i actually raced the golf gti from where i live... are the turbo from factory or not? this guy was turboed and it was like me racing a gt stang lol. he pulled on me and from 30-80 he had 2-3 cars on me. sounded like it had a BOV when he shifted. i couldnt really talk to him at the next light long b/c it turned green, but he said my car was fast for a 3.8, he usually runs with the 4.6. he was actually a nice guy- not rice at all, i respect that guy- havent seen him since though.

Some Golfs have turbo's. I raced a Jetta GLI 1.8T. He pulled a half car on me. But he also started in front of me and I didn't know he was gonna gun it.
