I had the second interview yesterday, had a feeling it went really well, and got a call this morning offering it to me! :willy_nilly:

My happiness knows no bounds :D I was starting to feel like it was never going to happen, and some people I know have ben unemployed for way longer, this is great timing!

It also pwns my old job. I'm going to get training and support, and after 6 months I get a pay review. It's only a small office but it's a niche company and they've not really been affected by the recession. I'm going to be doing Marketing Admin with a little bit of sales work thrown in - not cold calling, more like trying to see what else we can offer their existing customers.

I start on Monday! I'm so excited! :banana2:
 
Thanks guys :) feeling a bit nervous, it's been almost 5 years since I last had to start somewhere new, and they want me to go to a training day tomorrow. It's not technically a staff course but it's for new customers to their business and they think it'll give me a lot of info on what they do.

I have very few office clothes either! My old wardrobe was half-uniform, we had to wear tunic tops supplied by the company, so I just had a couple of pairs of work trousers. I have a top that'll do for tomorrow but I think I need to go shopping lol :)
