Earlier you said you knew you'd get a warning b/c "no one" goes the speed limit on the road...and the way you told the story, it comes across as that you had no idea what speed you were going until you looked at your ticket. There are several things that can throw off your speedometer, so maybe you THOUGHT you were going the speed limit. Either way, it doesn't much matter now. BUT if you knew you were going the speed limit and took the warning anyway, you should be mad w/ yourself for not challenging it. *shrugs*

I got a ticket for 84 in a 70 but I was going 90+. Luckily a little paying through the nose cleared it from my record...only time I've ever been pulled over but I drive fast. The ticket slowed me down considerably but I've gotten back into my bad habits.

What I do know about American law is it's very similar to ours with reference to the Occupy movement ... and even though this thread isn't about that you gotta make a stink about it here in your masterful round about way. To that end I would say that it's not legal for you or your fellow countrymen to squat on either public or private land and by all accounts that's what they are doing. That being the case when your told to mosey along it's best you do that. Ya.. ya I know it's civil disobedience at it's finest but when the law has been broken it's broken.

BTW did you ever stop to think your actually funding both sides of that movement. 1 by way of sending the American Civil Liberties Union cash to fight the bad guys ( govt ) and one to the actual bad guys ( govt ) by way of taxes to hoof the anarchists off public and private property. :24:
