I had an enjoyable evening.

Somewhat Known
So, this evening, after (hopefully) doing well on a calculus test (crap, I have to do my history take-home tonight...), I was on my home to grab my jacket; it became chilly enough to warrant the trip.

However, my expedition was interrupted by the event of running over a tire in the middle of the road. After the tow to the yard (which it will have to stay, because they closed right before the cops called them out), I inspected the car. I would have driven it home, except that the tire was attached to a rim, and stuck under my passenger front steering apparatus. They towed the car, and unfortunately, the tire under it, unto the tow truck. I inspected it at the yard, and it appears to be that the passenger tire steering assembly is ok, as well as no damage to any liquid-bearing assemblies. The tire itself deflated, which means the tire is either damaged, or the rim suffered some casualty not noticed from the outside or rim-brakes view.

The cost, or so what I have determined, will be a $135 fee for towing, but since I was unable to procure a spare (I had removed mine with the jack and such about a year and a half ago), I had to leave it overnight, which from what I gather, is going to cost an additional $60.

I do have everything I need with me, considering the only major thing in the car is an almost-empty Pepsi bottle with some gum in it, plus if I recall correctly, some mediocre to unimportant papers in the glove box, with some minor trash residing next to those papers, such as gum wrappers.

I have no car this evening, and it is bothering me to no end. I was not hurt; only my baby was. There was another car involved, separately; the other car swiped the tire, and smashed into a light-telephone pole, leaving it in a precarious position. She was ok, but the car was totaled. The car was a 2004 Mustang V6, orange in color.

My evening was enjoyable; how was your's?

Alas, I am in no mood for a dance, although, should I have been in happier spirits, I would have accepted with no hindrance.
