So..
I am a protestant christian. I believe in the bible. I believe you must be saved in order to go to heaven.. however, I have never been baptized. I dont think its 100% vital that I get baptized in order to go to heaven.

what do you guys think.. must i be baptized to go to heaven? or is being saved enough?

According to Protestant belief, baptism does not have anything to do with salvation. So it won't make a difference if you are baptized or not.

Well, not talking about all Protestantism, but over here in the UK it only become Gods religion because the king wanted a divorce. On that basis, I really see no reason to believe that it does any good or has any validity, just my opinion anyway.:)

Fortunatly, the Bible is very clear on the basics.

Believe, accept, and confess. Everything else in our walk is brought on in steps that we're able to take.

Don't worry about baptism if you don't feel led in that direction.

As you learn more, and spend time in Church and reading the Word of God, you will feel led in different directions depending on the course God is placing before you.

Good luck brother. It's a great way. :D

There are some things practiced in certain beliefs that are of a symbolic meaning. Baptism I believe is one of those and is meant to symbolize rebirth.

Not everything is meant to be taken literally and you may find if you go down the literal path you may find yourself as some others whose name shall not be mentioned, forever doubting.

With that being said, if you have the faith and by baptizing it represents the symbolization of re-birth, I can see no reason why you should not do it. Unless of course you are afraid of water.

I'm thinking he prolly doesn't want my opinion either. I'm unbaptized and don't see a reason for that to change.
