i got in a fuckin accident like 20 mins ago

now that i think about it this could have been so much worse. I could have rear ended her going highway speeds, had my airbags deploy which would more than likely write my car off......and i coulda been really hurt....guess theres a positive.
yep and for that i'm repping you, and i'm sorry i'm not trying to burst you bubble here i'm just trying to help you see how to protect yourself if it ever happens again.

I'm glad your ok.

I don't know about Canada, but it sounds like it is 50/50 on responsibility. For one, you were travelling at a rate of speed which did not allow you to slow down in a safe manner causing you to swerve off the road. The lady in front of you was doing defensive driving as well. In my opinion, and if I were the cop showing up to the scene, I would award both of you equal amount of fault and call it a day. But if I had to award anybody more at fault it would be you since you were the vehicle in the rear. Anytime you rearend someone here in a America, it doesn't matter who's "real" fault it was, it is always the driver that hit the person in front of them.

yeah but i didnt rear end her. she ended up denting my side door in.

anyway, i talked with her and she is wanting to settle outside of insurance depending on the estimate. soooo, it would seem she is accepting fault. so ill have to get an estimate and see where it goes from there.

Final update on this little mishap.
The lady that i got in the accident with decided to go through insurance so i was worried i would have to pay my deductable cuz it would more than likely come out to be 50-50 fault.

however, it turns out she took fault and i dont gotta pay a penny. And my car is gettin fixed as i type this. soooo....WOOHOO. haha.

wait... i'm confused...

Regardless of at fault/not at fault, you should have to pay your deductible.

Or are they subtracting that from the repair cost?

Honesty. It's a good thing. ;)

Glad to hear your vehicle is getting fixed.
