I get to go to rural South Carolina in a year

Got a call yesterday from one of my best friends from high school asking me to be a groomsman in his wedding next May. So, I have slightly less than a year to get into good enough shape to wear a tux and actually not look like an oversized penguin. I don't remember the last time I had plans made this early... oh wait, I never have. But, I'll finally have a use for all of the miles my debit card has been racking up for me. :24: Should be pretty cool, they're renting a lakehouse for the wedding party for most of the week before the wedding and 2-3 days afterwards. Then they'll be getting married at said lakehouse.

It's kinda amusing to me that he's getting married; he and another friend of ours both claimed in high school that they'd be dead by the age of 40 so there was no point in ever getting married. Now one of them is married already, and the other one will be in a year. :24:

As long as the tux is properly fitted it doesn't matter if you weigh 100 lbs or 300 lbs, you will look sharp.

Tuxedos are good like that. I LOVE wearing mine.

Oh fun!! I am desperate to go to a wedding, I have not been to one in years!

I was supposed to come over to America in July next year for a wedding but they moved it to June so I cant go

Then, at the end of next May I have my sister's wedding. So, two weddings in a month after having not been to one since my brother's in 2006. :24: I think I only have to wear a suit for that one though, since as far as I'm aware, I'm only an usher for their wedding. But who knows though, her fiance doesn't have a ton of friends, and I've actually known him longer than she has... and she's planning on having six bridesmaids. :24: So I may end up a groomsman for that wedding as well.
