If someone thinks that Bob Marley is 'rock' then they are just plain dumb. He was good, but he was a reggae singer.

I also think 311 is a shitty band. I don't understand why people hold certain bands and artists in such high regard because they are associated with pot. That doesn't make them good... talent does. People who put artists like that on a pedestal have something to prove and want attention. I had a friend who started smoking with me and he would constantly tell me how great Bob Marley was. It got really old really fast. Yeah, smooth music is cool when you're high, we get it... now chill the fuck out.

Basically, my point is, there are a lot of bands that are way overrated because of their association with drugs.
