Well Known
..... Costco today but I have to. It seems like we've run out of just about everything at the same time so it's not going to be a cheap trip especially when we get to the meat isle. Then there's this watch I've had my eye one for a while... and I need a new pillow, I want a bicycle they have, I need ink for my printers and the list goes on. To be on the safe side I've taken a vow that if it belongs in the stomach I'll buy it and if it don't it stays in the store except for the ink. That's pretty important because I can't print without it. I don't really need that watch... or do I? ( I have a watch fetish ) :D

Anyone else afraid of Costco?

Terrified.

It's a $500 trip anytime I go. So I don't go.

:24:

I'm thinking it will be at least that because our standup freezer is empty and the beef around here isn't ready to be put in to it yet. I need my meat to keep me going.

The other perk of Costco is gas is 6 cents cheaper there yesterday for me...
Gas at our Costco is usually 4 cents cheaper and considering it takes me 1/2 hour to get there I don't bother with it unless I'm going anyway.

I do want to price out the Michelin tires today though. I'm thinking my car would be much happier with a set of those. :thumbup

*** if I was of the praying type I would be pouring the coals on right about now. I'm gunna need all the help I can get ***

Yeah I know a 11 dollar bag of coffee.. ended up cost 150 LOL..

I went through the books.. didn't see anything.. then found two CDs.. then grabbed some cheese curds, then another kind of cheese, ground beef, steak, veggies, pop, fruit... yeah.. it adds up fast!

That's given me an idea.

Most people can't stick to a list when they go there so I should start a Costco buyer service. A person gives me a list, I go get it and deliver it to their door. No extras... just the items on the list. Kinda like a dial-a-bottle service. Think of the money they could save.

We only have one Costco with a gas bar and it's 20 min north of where I live.. but I had to get Jim's coffee and I was going to the big mall...and my car empty light was on I have never let a car get that low in gas in my life.. if my dad were still here he would be yelling at me..

I would have loved it.. :surrender I get in there and oh that's cheap.. throw it in the cart... oh look at that.. we could use some of that.. etc..

You are doing your bank account a favour not going...
That is a fact.

I'm proud of myself. I came home with only the items on the list except they didn't have my coffee for some strange reason. I will not divulge what I spent though. Tonight we are going to the regular store which can be as bad as Costco. I hate spending money of food. You can't play with it... Mrs.Guyzerr gets cranky when I hang on to a pissgetty noodle and pull it back up. :24:

Costco is dangerous but oh so fun! My debit card shudders when I go down the electronics, school supply, or kitchenware aisles ever since I found out prices that end with a 7 are clearanced. I have gotten tons of stuff marked down there.
