But I still find it weird being in a big bed alone, if hubby is away. Plus it is colder too haha.

14 months of alone sleeping so far about 6 more to go, then i get him for a month then the army gets him back for a month or three. stupid army. although I am a huge bed hog, i tend to sleep on my tummy, head at one corner at the top one foot at the opposite corner at the bottom, one cat on the pillow by my head the other at the foot of the bed like the good dog kitty he is.

I'll be sleeping alone for a week when Brujah goes to FL for a business training trip... my parents will be in the house to visitllbut my bed will be empty. Considering sleeping in my daughters or sons room to have someone to cuddle

Work takes me away from home occasionally, the sleeping alone thing is the biggest downside.

I can sleep between two generators roaring at sound levels that requires ear protection
I can sleep while riding a horse
I can sleep with someone laying completely on top of me
I can sleep on hard surfaces
I can sleep bent over (no puns) the isle side arm of a transportation buses chair
I can sleep with my eyes 3/4 open
I can sleep while in a pool of water without drowning -- beat that

I can also stay away for 3 days then sleep for 3 hours then another 3 days then 2 or 3 hours for about 4 days then I have to have my 8 hours to recover
just to let you know I know this is not healthy
