i am not sure you read the rules upon registering, to which, if you did, you would have found that the administration staff does not allow brand new members to post links to things (what is deemed as spam-like activity here). if you started with something (in the introductions section) similar to

now, after, maybe say a month or so? of interaction with the site (hopefully good interactions: posting, participating in polls, contributing content (threads, pictures (such as in the OTz pictures thread); then maybe you could ask the administration staff (by this time, you would know who that is..) and you would be able to send a message through the PM (private message) feature, asking if you could advertise (for the site/voting thing) and maybe..

just maybe, you would not have received this negative response.

now, this option is closed (although, and i am not sure about this, there may be a restart? kind of deal, but people who have seen this thread already and formed such preconceptions about you will remember..).

but, since of as this time, you are not yet banned (for the first post being considered spam, according to the rules/guidelines set forth in the FAQ/rules section of this site, which are quite general around the internet), you still may be able to recover.

while i, like some of the people here, do not really care for physical beauty contests (i don't mind the eye candy, but i'm not going to search and vote or whatever for it), i will also wish you well in the contest.
