i had to have a blood test today, no big deal right. well the cost of this blood test is $2000!!!!!!! the test is fairly new, only on the market for about a year now, but one that i needed to have done. the good news is that if my insurance wont cover the test then i only have to pay $235 out of pocket :eek

That is cheaper than my bone marrow tests. Go for the 3rd one tomorrow. The one they did last year was over $7,000. There is a lot of hyped up charges in medicine. They can't give it free to some folks without hammering those of us who pay for insurance.:mad

Most regular tests may be covered but it's slowly changing.
